Dortmund player and Arsenal target Lukasz Piszczek has revealed that he is not interested in talks of a possible move away from the German club to Arsenal and is instead more interested in gaining back his fitness after struggling with an injury.
The Poland national team player is currently recovering from a hip surgery that has put him out of play for several weeks. He has been constantly linked with a move to the North London club in the last 2 transfer window with reports saying that Arsenal will be attempting to buy the defender in the coming January transfer window but the player has revealed that he is more concerned about getting back to fitness than seeking a move to Arsenal.
Lukasz Piszczek told German Bild ” Even though I have a little pain now and then, it is definitely much better than before the operation. I am satisfied.
“On the other hand, I will do nothing unnecessary to put myself under pressure after such a major operation.”
The defender has according to various reports been closely monitored by Wenger as the replacement for Bacary Sagna who is yet to renew his current contract at Arsenal.
