Arsenal youth team product and former Crewe Alexandra man; Chuks Aneke has joined Belgian side SV Zulte Waregem on a three-year deal.
After spending the majority of the last campaign on loan at League One side Crewe Alexandra, Chuks returned to Gresty Road in a season-long deal.
Chuks, who is creative in possession and has an excellent eye for goal he scored eight times in 38 appearances for the Railwaymen last term.
The 20-year-old joins the Belgian side after his contract expired at Premiership Arsenal.
Aneke has spent the last two seasons on loan at Gresty Road and starred last season, finishing top scorer at the club with 16 goals.
There was much speculation about Aneke’s future, with many Championship clubs enquiring about the forward and the Crewe Alexandra side were also keen to try and bring Aneke back to the club.
But all that has been put to dust as the the Arsenal youngster has decided to ply his trade with Belgian outfit SV Zulte Waregem.
“This is a great opportunity for me and I will do my best to take it as soon as possible,” he told Zulte’s official website.
“I think Belgian football will suit my playing style.
“Zulte Waregem give opportunities to young players and this club, after some good conversations, was a logical choice for my future development.”
