Arsenal, going into the summer transfer window are keen on bringing in nothing but the best; but then, they may also lose some of theirs with reports of Arsenal ace Lukas Podolski set to fly to Turkey next week to complete a move to Galatasaray.
Podolski has been on the fringe at Arsenal over the last two seasons after falling down the pecking order of Arsene Wenger’s side.
The 29-year-old was shipped out on loan in January to Serie A side Inter Milan where he failed to make an impact, with the club deciding against making the move permanent.
Podolski fully aware of his chances at Arsenal looking bleak, has agreed terms to move to Galatasaray, according to Metro.
The World Cup winner is expected to fly to Turkey before the end of this week for a medical and to complete the move.
It’s not clear how much the Turkish giants will be paying for the 29-year-old, but Arsenal were previously asking £9 million for his services.
