Arsenal are on the lookout for top quality players ahead of next season.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is planning a major title push next season and the boss is aware of the need to bring in only the best in the summer to achieve his target.
Wenger himself confirmed he would sign only “top players” in the summer, and this has seen the club linked to an avalanche of star players in recent weeks.
Fresh reports according to Daily Star claim the Gunners have tabled an £18.2m bid for Monaco’s Geoffrey Kondogbia.
The 22-year-old midfielder has been heavily linked to Arsenal in recent weeks and now reports say the Gunners have submitted a bid for the French international.
Kondogbia was signed from Sevilla two years ago and reportedly has a fixed £25million price tag on him.
Inter Milan and Real Madrid recently made enquiry for a possible swoop for the 6ft 2 inch defensive midfielder, but the Gunner still remain in pole position to land the 22-year-old in the summer.
