Arsenal are undoubtedly on the lookout for world class stars ahead of next season. But the Gunners themselves will also lose a few of their stars as well.
Arsenal could be dealt a major blow if reports according to the Mail that Jack Wilshere could exit the Emirates Stadium in the summer are to be believed.
Wilshere who has been injured for several months returned to Arsene Wenger’s side towards the tail end of the just concluded season, but is said to be unhappy at his current position at Arsenal.
The England international is currently behind Santi Cazorla, Francis Coquelin, Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil is the midfield pecking order at Arsenal and is reportedly frustrated at not getting enough game time since his return from an ankle surgery.
According to fresh reports, Arsenal will be looking to cash-in on the star to free up space in the squad and significant funds for the summer transfer window coupled with the midfielder’s off-pitch controversies.
Last season alone, Wilshere was involved in two smoking incidents, and only two weeks ago, he led a derogatory chant against north London rivals Tottenham during the Gunners trophy bus parade.
Following all this, reports have emerged that Arsenal are set to sell the England International this summer, with Manchester City keen.
