Arsenal have moved quickly ahead of the summer transfer window with fresh reports according to the Sun that the Gunners are interested in landing Manchester City forward Edin Dzeko.
The 29-year-old City forward has fallen down the striker pecking order at the Etihad Stadium under Manuel Pellegrini, with the Blue side of Manchester set to offload him this summer.
This news has placed the Gunner’s on red alert; with believe that the Bosnian international forward could be a decent addition this summer.
The report also says Arsene Wenger is happy to acquire the signature of the towering forward, with a £15million bid being mooted.
However, the Citizens value Dzeko above that and will reportedly hold out for a fee in the region of £20million.
Sources say Dzeko would be an ideal replacement for either of Olivier Giroud or Danny Welbeck.
