Arsenal are reportedly on the lookout for top quality players ahead of next season.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is planning a major title push next season and the boss is aware of the need to bring in only the best in the summer to achieve his target.
Wenger himself confirmed he would sign only “top players” in the summer, and this has seen the club linked to an avalanche of star players in recent weeks.
One of such stars is Chelsea legend Petr Cech.
The Gunners have been heavily linked with a move for the 33-year-old shot stopper, and now fresh report according to the Daily Mail, claim Arsenal will wrap up a deal this week that would see the veteran goalie make the switch from West London to North London.
The Czech Republic international himself is confident a deal will be struck when he meets with the management of Chelsea, after it was reported that his transfer out of the club is beyond the power of manager Jose Mourinho.
Several reports have also claimed the veteran goalie’s move to Arsenal is already as good as done, with Cech placing a decision to retain his family in London above his personal interest.
