Arsenal are undoubtedly on the lookout for world class stars ahead of next season. But the Gunners are aware that they will also need to lose a few of their stars to free up space and funds to bring in marquee signing this summer.
According to the Metro, Joel Campbell has reportedly agreed to transfer away from Arsenal this summer to join Fenerbahce.
The 22-year-old forward has reached an agreement with the Turkish giants, according to Turkish source.
The Costa Rican international enjoyed an impressive World Cup but has struggled to force his way into Arsene Wenger’s plans.
He has spent half the season on loan to La Liga side Villarreal following his failure to break into the Arsenal team.
And now it appears they are willing to let him leave permanently.
The Gunners are on the lookout for top quality players ahead of next season.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is planning a major title push next season and the boss is aware of the need to bring in only the best in the summer to achieve his goal.
Wenger himself confirmed he would sign only “top players” in the summer, and this has seen the club linked to an avalanche of star players in recent weeks.
