Arsenal, going into the summer transfer window are keen on bringing in nothing but the best; but then, they may also lose some of theirs with reports of Arsenal have reportedly reached an agreement-in-principle with Galatasaray for Lukas Podolski.
This report is according to popular Turkish newspaper Aksam, who claim that Galatasaray have put forward a three-year deal worth £2.2million-per-season and a £1.4million transfer fee for the German international.
Podolski has been on the fringe at Arsenal over the last two seasons after falling down the pecking order of Arsene Wenger’s side.
The 30-year-old was shipped out on loan in January to Serie A side Inter Milan where he failed to make an impact, with the club deciding against making the move permanent.
Podolski fully aware of his chances at Arsenal looking bleak will fancy a move to Turkish giants Galatasaray.
