Several reports that Petr Cech’s transfer to Arsenal is as good as done have been springing up in the last few days.
Some sources have claimed the 33-year-old shot stopper will 100% sign for Arsenal in the coming days,
It was also reported earlier that Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis has reportedly confirmed, while speaking to members of ArsenalFanTV yesterday, that the club are trying to sign the Chelsea legend.
Now, another huge hint has emerged from Chelsea’s camp, again suggesting that the veteran’s preference remains Arsenal.
Chelsea coach Christophe Lollichon, who has worked with Cech for the last ten years, believes the ‘keeper is eyeing a move to the Emirates this summer’.
“The advantage is that Arsenal is a top club with a philosophy that pleases him and this is in London. It is a base for consideration,” said Lollichon.
“He wants to stay in England but I don’t know what are the discussions. The Premier League is his primary objective but it will also depend on the conditions”
“I think he still has three or four excellent seasons in him.”
