Agent of Arsenal’s Serie A target has given Arsenal a boost in the race to sign Napoli star.
According to the Metro, Agent of Napoli striker Lorenzo Insigne has said he will hold talks with Napoli before the transfer window officially opens as Arsenal eye a move for his client.
The report also says agent Antonio Ottaiano extensively expressed the displeasure of his client’s current situation at the San Paolo Stadium.
Italian international Insigne has found game-time hard to come by under manager Maurizio Sarri, and Ottaiano believes the Arsenal target could exit the club if he fails to reach a compromise with the club over more game-time for the 24-year-old.
‘His future is not certain. We’re waiting to get a sense of the club’s project and ambitions,’ Ottaiano said.
‘Also, and this is fundamental, whether the player is still part of their plans. He feels neglected.
‘It’s a very simple matter, we’ve been saying for months that we’re expecting a meeting with the club to understand what projects they have.
‘Insigne wants to know his future in detail.’
