Arsenal have been handed a major boost in their bid to land key summer target.
The Gunners can now swoop in for Chilean star Arturo Vidal this summer.
According to the Independent, Arsenal have been cleared to complete the transfer of Arturo Vidal, after rivals Manchester United appear to have pulled out of the race to sign him.
The report also says the Gunners have held talks with the Juventus midfielder ahead of a £28.5million summer move, with the Italian champions reportedly willing to cash-in on the talented 28-year-old.
Manchester United had been previously keen on his signature, but have been put off by the Chilean’s behaviour at the Copa America, after he was alleged to have crashed his car under the influence of alcohol.
The alleged report of Vidal’s drink-driving incident has also seen Real Madrid drop their interest in the Chilean according to reports.
Arsene Wenger on the other hand, has given no indication that he will give up on chasing his signature.
Hence, previous report of the player completing a move to Arsenal after the Copa America is still on course!
