Arsenal are on the lookout for world class stars this summer, but will also be looking to lose a few players as well, to free up space and funds going into the transfer window.
According to reports making the round, Arsenal’s goalie and Colombia international David Ospina have been reportedly linked to join Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Rafael Benitez is keen to bring in a replacement for veteran goalie Iker Casillas who recently completed a move to FC Porto; Although Kiko Casilla has replaced Casillas in goal; But Benitez is keen on bringing in a more experienced shot stopper.
However, Club president Florentino Perez is keen to bring Ospina to Santiago Bernabéu and hopefully talks could open imminently.
Ospina had a fantastic end to his first season at Arsenal and in the Premier League, culminating in securing the no.1 jersey for Arsene Wenger’s side.
The 26-year-old has also been linked with a move to Fenerbahce and Everton
