Arsenal have reportedly reached an agreement to seal the transfer of French midfielder Mathieu Flamini away from the Emirates Stadium this summer.
This report is according to popular Turkish media outlet Medya Haber per the Metro, who claim the Gunners have agreed terms on a deal to sell Flamini to Turkish giants Galatasaray.
Flamini’s future at Arsenal has since been on the air, following the rise to prominence of fellow compatriot Francis Coquelin last season, and the Gunner’s plan to bring in another defensive midfielder this summer.
Despite including the 31-year-old midfielder in the Gunner’s pre-season tour of Singapore, there have been reports of manager Arsene Wenger listening to offers for his transfer away from north London this summer.
And now, reports in Turkey say a deal has been reached by both clubs that would see a second Arsenal player move to Galatasaray, following the departure of Lukas Podolski earlier this month.
Medya Haber also added that the deal will be done and dusted within 48 hours.
