Szczesny could exit the Emirates Stadium this summer.
Arsenal could lose another star to Eredivisie giants Ajax this summer after the Dutch side completed the loan transfer of Yaya Sanogo last week.
According to the Mail, Wojciech Szczesny is the latest Arsenal man targeted by the Dutch giants, after their current first choice goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen, has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United this summer.
The report also says that director of football at Ajax Marc Overmars has contacted the Gunners over Szczesny’s availability this summer, in preparation to the imminent departure of Cillessen to United.
Ajax secured the services of Sanogo on a season long loan recently and have now turned their attentions to Szczesny, following Arsenal’s overflowing options in goal.
Szczesny lost his place in goal for Arsenal last season to an in-form David Ospina; and following the arrival of Petr Cech from Chelsea this summer, the Pole has been relegated to third choice after Ospina revealed his desire to stay and fight for his place at the club.
25-year-old Szczesny is reportedly keen to remain in north London; however, the lure of guaranteed first team football at Ajax may entice him away from the Emirates this summer.
