Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is planning a major title push next season and the boss is aware of the need to bring in only the best in the summer to achieve his target.
Wenger himself confirmed he would sign only “top players” in the summer, and this has seen the club linked to an avalanche of star players in recent weeks.
According to reports making the round, Manchester United are close to signing Pedro from Barcelona as executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward is reported to be flying home from the US to work in other to push the move through this week.
It was earlier reported by popular Spanish media outlet Fichajes.net that the Gunners were set to land Pedro for £10.8million cut-price transfer.
Wenger had moved for the Spanish International last summer window but a deal was finally called off, shifting our attention to Alexis.
However, Chelsea and Liverpool are also keen on signing Pedro. It looks certain the transfer will be concluded before the game Between Manchester united and Barcelona’s friendly match in America next weekend.
