Arsene Wenger is reportedly set to get his dream striker finally signed up this summer.
Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema could be on his way to the Emirates Stadium this summer according to reports in Spain.
According to popular Spanish media outlet Fichajes.net per Metro, the Gunners could be set to have their offer for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema accepted.
Spanish giants Madrid are said to have found a replacement for the 27-year-old French international in Borussia Dortmund’s German ace Marco Reus, with the reports also saying that the Los Blancos plan on using the fee paid by Arsenal for Benzema to fund the transfer of 26-year-old Reus.
Madrid where reportedly said to have halted talks of a transfer for Benzema with Arsenal. However, Fichajes now claim the club is ready to accept the Gunners £31.3million bid.
Real are keen on landing Reus this summer and are set to use the £31.3million fee paid by Arsenal for Benzema to fund the £63million mega transfer of skillful forward Reus.
