Szcszney could exit the Emirates this summer.
Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny could exit the Emirates Stadium this summer for a spell in Serie A.
This report is according to Telegraph, who claim Italian giants AS Roma are looking to secure the services of the former Arsenal number one on a season-long loan deal.
Szczesny’s place at Arsenal seem to have slumped further downward, after the £11million signing of Chelsea legend Petr Cech this summer meant that he is now the club’s third choice goalkeeper – behind Cech and David Ospina.
And now Roma are set to give Arsenal – who are spoilt with goalkeeping options, a breather by moving for Szczesny.
It is said that the 25-year-old Pole prefers to stay at the Emirates, but with top class regular football at Roma beckoning, he may take the loan option to get back to top level.
Szczesny also dropped a huge hint that he will join Roma this summer by following the club on Instagram and former Arsenal star Ashley Cole, who shares the same agent as Szczesny, is already at Roma.
