Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is planning a major title push next season and the boss is aware of the need to bring in only the best in the summer to achieve his target.
Wenger himself confirmed he would sign only “top players” in the summer, and this has seen the club linked to an avalanche of star players in recent weeks.
According to reports making the round, Arsenal have been handed a boost to complete the signing of Manchester City star striker Edin Dzeko after manager pellegrini admitted that the striker could leave the club this summer.
The 29-year-old Bosnian international recently appeared on the radar as a striker option for boss Arsene Wenger.
Edin who currently earns £90,000-a-week, has been capped 130 finding the back of the net 50 times since joining Manchester City from Wolfsburg in 2011.
Pellegrini admits Dzeko could leave Etihad this summer.
‘Edin didn’t play the last game as it’s not clear if he will continue here or not but he still working with the whole squad,’ said Pellegrini.
