Arsenal have been heavily linked with a move for Benzema in recent weeks, and the report says the Gunners can now swoop in for their target, with news that Madrid new boss Rafa Benitez is reportedly keen on Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero.
Arsenal have stepped up their bid for the French international who is Wenger’s Priority this summer.
According to reports, The Metro claims, Arsenal are ready to up their bid to £35.3million as they look to seal the deal as soon as possible.
The report also says if this new bid meets real Madrid valuation, Arsenal will get cleared to negotiate directly with Benzema.
Benzema currently earns £150,000-a-week, The striker scored 22 goals in 45 appearances for Madrid last season and is also a target for Manchester United .
