Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is planning a major title push next season and the boss is aware of the need to bring in only the best in the summer to achieve his target.
According to reports, the Barcelona’s midfielder Star Sergi Samper has opened up on the possibility of him lacing up his boots for Arsenal in the near future; though Barcelona are reluctant to let him go albeit a loan deal.
The 20-year-old is frustrated at having to play for Barcelona B team and is keen on joining the Gunners this summer, after turning down the north London club back in 2011 when he visited the club’s training ground along with fellow Spaniards Jon Toral and Hector Bellerin.
Arsenal have been heavily linked with a move for the Barcelona youngster lately, with reports claiming the Gunners are ready to match his £8.4million buyout clause.
With the Gunners appearing keen on the signing the young defensive midfielder this summer, and the player now ready to jump ship to Arsenal, it can be said that the transfer would happen faster than expected.
