Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is planning a major title push next season and the boss is aware of the need to bring in only the best in the summer to achieve his target.
According to reports making the rounds, the Gunners are set to meet up the high wage Sergio Busquets currently earns at Barcelona.
Previous reports claims, Busquets is reportedly at the top of Arsenal’s transfer wish list this summer and Wenger hopes he hopes to find a perfect replacement for Mikel Arteta.
The Spanish international currently earns £120,000-a-week at Barca which is slightly close to what Mesut Özil and Alexis Sánchez currently earns, and is believed to be at the range of £140,000-a-week.
The Daily Telegraph suggests and added Arsenal are willing to offer Busquets between the rage of £120,000-a-week to £130,000-a-week for his services.
The chief seems to be serious in signing Busquets as a number of defensive midfield targets have slipped through his hold this summer.
