Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is planning a major title push next season and the boss is aware of the need to bring in only the best in the summer to achieve his target.
Arsenal have beaten off competition from Manchester City to land 17-year-old Ismael Bennacer from AC Arles-Avignon.
Bennace accepted a five-year contract to join the Gunners ahead of rivals Manchester City.
17-year-old French youth international, made 7 senior appearances for AC Arles-Avignon last term, he can be best described as a creative and attacking midfielder
However, popular outlet, L’Equipe claim city were offering the youngster a huge amount for his services but he rather choose the Gunners, who are paying about £150,000 in compensation and he was also promised a short at the first team for next term.
Manager Manuel Pellegrini side were favourites to sign Bennacer, according to previous reports claiming he had agreed personal terms over a move to the Manchester City.
The talented youngster took to his twitter handle to announce the deal; although either clubs are yet to officially announce the move.
