The Gunners are on the lookout for top quality players ahead of next season.
Arsenal have been handed a major boost in their chase for Julian Draxler after news broke that Schalke has rejected Juventus’ £15.6million bid for the midfielder.
According to the Metro, manager André Breitenreiter is reportedly worried that Arsenal are going to table a massive Bid which could see the Bundesliga star leave the club this summer.
However, Breitenreiter added he would be helpless to prevent the German international from leaving if a “ Brutal Bid” was tabled from Arsenal.
‘I want to keep him 100% but I do not what will happen if we receive a brutal offer,’ Breitenreiter told Bild.
This report is coming following earlier claims that the high rated midfielder has agreed terms with the Serie A winners on a £50,000-a-week deal.
But Arsenal have been handed renewed hopes to sign the 21-year-old star who has been a long term target for Arsene Wenger.
