The talented winger is a hardly first-choice starter at Real Madrid, and spent last year on loan at Villarreal, where he made 26 La Liga appearances for Manager Marcelino García Toral.
The 24-year-old admitted last month he was uncertain over his future at Madrid, saying: “I don’t know where I’ll be next season.”
Cheryshev joined Real Madrid in 2002, he has 109 appearances for Madrid B side and has found the back of the net 22 times.
The Russian international is also been wanted by arch rivals Liverpool, but reports says Arsene Wenger is sitting in pole position in signing the versatile winger.
