Arsenal are on the lookout for world class stars this summer, but will also be looking to lose a few players as well, to free up space and funds going into the transfer window.
Arsenal have officially announced the transfer of two stars ahead of the new season.
Academy graduates Chuba Akpom and Isaac Hayden have joined Hull City on a season long loan deal.
This announcement was made today via the club’s official website, and the youngsters will spend the 2015/2016 season with the Championship side.
Speaking after putting pen-to-paper on his loan deal, Hayden said: “I’m very pleased and very excited. It’s exactly what I need at this stage of my career.
“The manager has been great with me and I’m looking forward to meeting the rest of the lads – I can’t wait to get started now.
“This club is an ambitious one, so to be part of this is a great opportunity – it’s a chance for me to prove myself. I’m very excited for the season ahead.”
Akpom on the other hand has made nine appearances for Arsenal since making his first team debut as a substitute in a win against Sunderland in September 2013, and he has also had previous loan spells with Brentford, Coventry City and Nottingham Forest.
Akpom and Hayden are the latest Arsenal youngsters to be sent out on loan this season to gain more first team experience elsewhere.
