Arsenal are on the lookout for top quality players ahead of next season.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is planning a major title push next season and the boss is aware of the need to bring in only the best in the summer to achieve his target.
Wenger himself confirmed he would sign only “top players” in the summer, and this has seen the club linked to an avalanche of star players in recent weeks.
According to reports making the round, Arsene Wenger long term target pedro have penned a a four year deal with rivals Manchester United after spending eleven successful year with Spanish giants’ Barcelona.
Popular Spanish newspaper Marca per Daily Star, says the Red Devils have agreed to sign the 28-year old Champions League Winner on a deal reportedly to be £24.7million, the report also claims the versatile star was also spotted in England when he came for his medicals which he has completed. .
But it all seems now that Pedro is heading to Old Trafford after ex Gunner Thierry Henry confirmed the rumours by saying:
“Manchester United will be getting an excellent player if they can complete the signing of Pedro,” Henry wrote in The Sun on Sunday.
“He was the perfect team-mate for me at Barcelona because his understanding of wing play was second to none.
“No one was better at applying pressure from out wide. It is a position that is in his DNA.
“It’s been drilled into him by a lifetime at the Nou Camp and why I believe he will be such an important acquisition for United.”
