Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is planning a major title push next season and the boss is aware of
the need to bring in only the best in the summer to achieve his target.
Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger is considering a £22million deal for Sevilla midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak, according to reports.
The midfielder, who scouts flew out to watch in action on Tuesday is quickly becoming a serious target for Arsenal, with Wenger reportedly planning to add to his midfield before the transfer window closes on Sept 1.
It was reported by the Telegraph that Arsenal delegates attended the Sevilla – Barcelona Super Cup clash to watch the Polish midfield enforcer in action against the Champions League winners.
Although Francis Coquelin has emerged as a reliable candidate for the defensive midfield role at Arsenal, but there is the fear that if he gets injured or suffers a drop in form, the defense will be left without a shield, hence the need for a complement.
Krychowiak who formerly played for Bordeaux and Stade Reim before joining Sevilla in 2014 has made 20 appearances for Poland, and has won the Europa League in just his first season at Sevilla, turning out very impressive displays.
