Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is planning a major title push next season and the boss is aware of
the need to bring in only the best in the summer to achieve his target.
Arsenal are interested in signing Sevilla’s midfield enforcer Grzegorz Krychowiak.
This report is according to metro, who claim the Gunners have been given encouragement in the pursuit of Krychowiak, after the Spanish club reportedly tabled a bid for his replacement.
And now reports claims the Chief is ready to sweep in for the defensive midfield enforcer and Arsenal are ready to pay his £21.4million release clause to sign this summer.
His fellow team-mate Vicente Iborra has admitted Krychowiak is set to leave the club this summer meaning the deal will soon be sealed.
And Iborra admits that he’s worried his team-mate will not be with the side come September 2nd.
‘Of course I’m concerned that Krychowiak could be taken away,’ said Iborra.
‘I always want to have the best players in the team. He brings so much so I hope he stays.
‘I understand Sevilla’s position, it is clear. I hope nobody pays the clause and he stays with us.’
This news has reportedly encouraged Arsenal to make a move for the Sevilla star, with the 25-year-old Polish international seen by the Gunners as an alternative option to Morgan Schneiderlin and Geoffrey Kondogbia.
