It was so clear we were robbed of our 3 points six minutes in when Aaron Ramsey’s brilliant effort was wrongly ruled offside.
We went into halftime in a scoreless draw thanks to new signing petr Cech who made two very brilliant saves to deny the Reds from going ahead; the first save was from Benteke and then Coutinho.
However, we were in control of the second half but we were mostly dominated at the first half, the Midfield was nothing to write about as they lacked organization and couldn’t hold on to the ball. I guess what the boss would have told them at half time really worked as we saw Mignolet deny Giroud from point-blank range in the 69th minute and also Škrtel almost scored an own-goal while denying the Ox’s cross into Walcott in the 83 rd.
A replay clearly show Ramsey was well onside and I was very unhappy with the decision as Liverpool’s Martin Skrtel appeared to be kept Ramsey onside.
