The Gunner’s have continued the disappointing campaign in Europe as they suffered another defeat in midweek’s Champions’ league group stage.
Although the Gunner’s had won their last two previous games including a North London derby and also defeating a Leicester side that was yet to lose a game in all completion this season, but their Champions league campaign is nothing to write about.
Arsenal’s Gabriel has urged the team to remain calm and confident so they can focus on Manchester United who are currently sitting on top of the League table with 16 points from 7 games. while the Gunners are currently sitting in 4th position with 13 points from 7 games.
“It was a complicated night [against Olympiacos],” he said. “We were in a good place in the first half, defending well, we were happy. But the three goals were our own fault.
“We only have ourselves to blame for conceding them and now we have to rest, work harder, and then on Sunday come back and have a good game.
“We just need to be calm. We have to work hard and focus on putting in a good performance [against Manchester United].
“I am sad that we lost an important game at home. But we can still qualify. We have a very strong team, with some very good players. We now have to try to win the remaining matches in the group.”
