This report is according to Daily Telegraph, which claims Arsenal defender Mathieu Debuchy is considering making a shock exit in January transfer window.
This reports shouldn’t come as a shock to many Gunners as the Frenchman is planning to leave the club in search of more play; he has lost his starting eleven spot for both country and club due to injuries and fast rising star Hector Bellerin’s growing stature at the club.
The 30-year-old was signed from New Castle for £12 million last summer and has made just 3 games for the Gunner’s this season
According to L’Equipe they claim Debuchy gave reasons why he thought about leaving the club over the summer, he added the reason being Bellerin was selected ahead of him in the Community Shield clash against Chelsea.
It is believed Debuchy will ask Wenger to let him go so he can search for more play time in January so he can get his spot back in his national side ahead of the Upcoming Euros 2016 game
However, Debuchy has a contract with Arsenal till 2018 it is believed Wenger could convince him to stay promising him to slot in when the situation demands.
