Yesterday’s Merseyside derby against Everton which ended 1-1 saw Liverpool’s manager Brendan Rodgers AXED.
Arsenal’s Arsene Wenger has revealed he is sad due to Liverpool’s management to sack Rodgers.
The Irishman was in charge of Liverpool for more than three years and was shown the exit door after yesterday’s disappointing 1-1 derby draw against Everton.
Wenger was asked about Rodger’s exit from Liverpool after his own side impressive 3-0 win over Manchester United and he has this to say.
“ I am always sad when this happens because I think Rodgers is a quality manager,”
However, Fresh reports claims Liverpool have contacted Jurgen Klopp to take over the helms of affairs and a 3 deal is said to be offered to him.
There were reports that Arsenal were targeting Jurgen Klopp to replace Arsene Wenger when he retires.
Klopp is currently out of Job and Daily star claims he has agreed a 3 year deal with Liverpool.
