Fresh reports have emerged that Arsenal might sweep in for Aleksandr Kokorin as his manger Cyril Loginov has hinted he might make the switch to the Emirates in future.
The Gunners were close to signing the Dynamo Moscow man over the summer but the deal got stale and Wenger was reported placing a phone call to him to convince him to make the switch but both clubs failed to come to a agreement.
However, Dynamo Moscow boss has talked about speculations about Kokorin future in the club, He recently confirmed that Arsenal had previously made a loan approach for him during the summer, but the club rejected it.
‘Aleksandr, if all well informed, still has a chance [to move in the future] and not just to Arsenal,’ he is quoted as saying by the Daily Star.
‘If Dinamo refused to give Aleksandr to Arsenal in the past transfer window, it does not mean that he can’t be where he wants [in the next window].
‘We have a very good relationship with the coaching staff and the management of the football club Dinamo Moscow.’
