Arsenal have been handed a major winter transfer boost in their bid to land star target to finally solve a key position in Arsene Wenger this term.
Over the summer transfer window Arsene wenger was only able to sign Chelsea’s veteran goalie Petr Cech and he has been heavily criticized for not bringing in a defensive midfielder and also a striker to strengthen the team.
The Gunners were linked with signing some of the world best top finishers and it all ended up in mere speculation.
The Gunners have been given a major boost in signing one of Wenger’s long term target Alexandre Pato.
Corinthians club’s deputy director of football Eduardo Ferreira says that Premier League clubs will have to cough up just short of £19m to land the Brazil international.
‘At the moment there are only enquiries,’ Ferreira told Globo Esporte.
‘But if a club comes in with an offer of €25m (18.5m), we will let him go, otherwise he will return in January.
