Wenger Gives Update About Injury Woes At The Emirates Before Bayern Clash

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has defended the club’s medical staff after England duo Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chambarlin joined the club’s goring injury list.

The Gunners were left counting the cost last Tuesday night’s 3-0 Capital One Cup fourth-round loss at Sheffield Wednesday.

Oxlade-Chambarlin was forced off after just five minutes because of a hamstring problem before striker Theo Walcott joined him who came on in his place also had to be substituted on the 19th minute with a calf injury.

The Gunners currently have 8 players sidelined due to different injury problems as they set to face German Champions Bayern Munich on Wednesday.
