Premier League giants are queuing up for French midfielder Blaise Matuidi.
Le 10 Sport claims that Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal have been following the midfielder this season.
Super agent Mino Raiola who represents the French internation has claimed that the player is not leaving the French capital anytime soon, Raiola told RMC : “He stayed at PSG for his heart. He wanted to stay even if the top ten European clubs wanted him.”
“He has a good contract here. It is too early to talk about the market. Anyway, the winter transfer window is a repair market, as they say in Italy”
In September, Chelsea were said to be preparing a move for the French international. It was reported that Jose Mourinho wants the French international to replace John Obi Mikel at Stamford Bridge.
Manchester United were also linked with a move for the French international over the summer but the Old Trafford club couldn’t sign the midfielder and instead moved for Morgan Schneiderlin and Bastian Schweistinger.
Arsenal on the other hand are battling with injury crisis at the Emirates, even though the Gunners have been getting the results and scoring goals, however, Arsene Wenger who sees this season as his golden chance of clinching the Premier League title is keen on bolstering his side with Matuidi’s experience and versatility.
Matuidi, who Joined PSG from Saint Ettiene is 28 years old and he is valued at over £30 million and has a contract with PSG until 2018.
Matuidi has scored 17 league goals in 144 appearances for PSG and is a key figure alongside Marco Verratti in Laurent BLanc’s side.
