Swedish Superstar, Zlatan Ibrahimovic wants to sign for the Gunners as he targets a move to the Premier League, according to reports.
Ibrahimovic has been strongly linked with an exit from Paris St. Germain in coming days, with the Premier league is likely destination.
The paper says Ibrahimovic is keen on a transfer to the Premier League and Arsenal are his favoured destination. Arsenal Boss, Arsene Wenger is interested in a deal when the 33 years old contract expires at the end of this season with the Parisians. The Swedish goal machine would be a free agent at the end of this season, making him one of the most prolific free ever in the history of football and in recent times.
Arsenal operates a very moderate wage structure, with Mesut Ozil (£140,000-a-week), Alexis Sanchez (£130,000 a-week) and Theo Walcott (£110,000-a-week) the three highest paid players in the Gunners pay roll.
Manchester United have skipper Wayne Rooney as their highest earner with (£250,000-a-week), David Degea (£200,000-a-week) and Bastian Schweinsteiger (£200,000-a-week) the three highest paid players. Juan Mata is 4th in United highest pay roll with £140,000-a-week which is equal to the Gunners highest paid player.
United can capitalise on Zlatan’s high wage demands to lure the Swedish super star to the Theatre of Dreams as Arsenal would not be able to compete with Manchester United in terms of meeting Zlatan’s wage demands. United have players earning similar amounts and Zlatan’s wage won’t be too difficult to offset.
