BREAKING: Top Source Confirms MEGA Star Heading To The Emirates In January

The Nigerian super star captained his Nation U17 side to victory in the just concluded U17 tournament in Chile and emerged the most valuable player of the tournament and bronze boot for being the third leading scorer in the tournament.

The Metro have reported that Nwakali could be heading to the Emirates as soon as January, with the player’s agent claiming a deal may be imminent.

Previous report suggested Chelsea were sitting in pole position in signing him but the player has signified his interest to play for Arsenal

However, Chelsea have a lot of young and promising talents in their pay roll, most of which are out on loan and may most likely not make it up the ranks into the Chelsea first team, so Arsenal would be a better option for Nwakali to develop as a youngster.

Most football fans back in Nigeria would not forget in a hurry how Chelsea signed John Mikel Obi, tagged the next big thing In Nigerian Football after finishing behind Lionel Messi at the 2005 U20 youth tournament, but the player has failed to develop and play with the potentials he exhibited all through the tournament.

Nigerians would not want Nwakali to follow in such footsteps; as greater things are expected from him in the nearest future
