Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on bolstering his side in the January transfer window for the second half of the 2015/2016 season.
Mesut Ozil has agreed terms on huge new Arsenal contract to stay at Arsenal, according to reports. The Gunners have been looking to tie up a number of big names to new deals in the last few months, with German star Ozil a priority.
The German looks like a different player entirely this season with a series of impressive goals and assist. He has contributed to more than half of Arsenal’s goals this season; he currently leads the assist chart in the premier league and has added goals to his game.
The German super star had an indifferent form last season but his looking like a ‘NEW’ addition to the Gunners squad; boosting their chances at winning a medal this season if he keeps up with his form. Ozil moved from Real Madrid on transfer deadline day in 2013 as the club’s record signing.
He has raked up over 22 assists in his first two seasons; usually operating just behind the front man in the number 10 role. The German is gifted with superb eyes for a pass and he specialises in finding pockets of space to drift and orchestrate play from.
Little wonder why Arsene Wenger is keen to tie the German to a new deal and prolong his stay at the Emirates stadium. He was very instrumental in ending Arsenal’s long wait for a title and he is leading the charge to end the long wait to lift the Premier League crown that the Gunners last won in 2004.
