Arsenal scouts have reportedly been scouting OGC Nice player Vincent Koziello for a while now and with injury to Francis Coquelin, January seems to be the right time to follow through with their bids after observing the player for years.
Arsenal are experiencing their best chance of mounting a sustained title challenge in years; Chelsea looks certainly out of the title race except if something miraculous takes place within the next 6 months , United doesn’t yet look like a team capable of going all the way, with their poor attacking threat ; the Old Trafford outfit flatters to deceive most times. Arsenal’s main title rivals are Manchester City who the Gunners can challenge in all regards baring injuries similar to that of Coquelin.
Koziello is 20 years of age and relatively young to be saddled with the responsibility of helping Arsenal in their current position, aiming for the title; although he is an intriguing prospect. Arsene Wenger does not like signing during the January transfer window, as he feels you don’t get value for money while options are more extensive during the summer window. But the Gunners cannot afford not to sign players in the January transfer window if they are to sustain their charge for a first premier league title since 2004.
Koziello is contracted to OGC Nice till the summer of 2018, is a versatile midfielder that can play as an attacking midfielder or defensive midfielder but his main position is central midfield. He has featured for
OGC Nice 14 times this season, scoring twice and assisting twice too.
