Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczeny who is currently spending the season on loan with Italian club AS Roma have been caught smoking again.
The goalkeeper was dropped from the starting xi in Roma’s last game and reports claim he was caught smoking after Roma’s defeat to Barcelona, hence the reason he was dropped last weekend against Atlanta.
In January, the goalkeeper was caught with a cigarette after Arsenal’s loss to Southampton and was subsequently fined by Arsene Wenger and also lost his place in Arsenal’s starting xi.
Gazetta dello Sport reports that Roma’s manager Rudi Garcia’s decision to drop him against Atlanta last weekend was as a result of his behaviour after the champions league loss to Barcelona.
If the goalkeeper intends to make the loan switch to Roma permanent, he must find a way to endear himself to Roma’s supporters and this kind of actions is definitely not one of the things he should be doing.
Szczeny has been an important part of the Roma squad until last weekend since moving to Italy on loan.
