Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed he’s looking for signings in the January transfer window.
Wenger was unsurprisingly quizzed on his plans after injury to Francis Coquelin and responded: if I find the right quality I will do something.
The Gunners are seriously hit with series of injuries to key first team players. Tomas Rosicky have been side-lined for a long time and has rarely contributed to the Gunners charge for a first league crown since 2004. Former Man United striker; Danny Welbeck have also failed to feature for the Gunners this season haven being out with injury before the start of the current campaign.
Theo Walcott have been in and out of the squad this season, he has been fantastic for Arsenal this season before injury struck when he was representing the Gunners against Sheffield Wednesday in the Capital one cup in a game the gunners crashed out losing 2-0 to the Championship.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain also picked up a knock against Sheffield Wednesday while Francis Coquelin picked up his own injury in the 2-1 defeat to West Brom. In the weekend clash at Carrow road; the Gunners suffered yet another injury set back, as French defender Laurent Koscieny and Chilean super star Alexis Sanchez limped off injured.
Wenger needs to add to his squad if they are to continue in their quest to end their 11 years wait for a Premier league crown; although Wenger don’t fancy recruiting players in the January transfer window, he appears not to have a choice this time around.
