Wenger has admitted that he is open to making new signings in January after seeing his squad
decimated by injuries this season.
According tot the Metro they claim Arsenal have had one of their former players, Luis Boa Morte, scout Porto midfielder and potential January transfer target.
According to reports making the round, Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Porto’s defensive midfielder Ruben Neves.
It is believed Arsene Wenger is looking to strengthen his defense after Francis Coquelin’s Keen injury which will rule him out until the end of the season.
The Reports also suggest Wenger is stepping up his hunt to cover for Coquelin and has ordered scouts to closely monitor the 18-year-old.
However, Wenger is believed to be preparing to pay £12m up front to Porto with a further £10m in add-ons.
