Arsenal are reportedly on the lookout for top quality players ahead of the January transfer window.
Brazilian star winger, Lucas Moura has been touted by Arsenal amid rumours the 23- years old is seeking a move away from Paris St. Germain this winter with the winger in high demand.
Arsene Wenger was reportedly interested in acquiring the former Corinthians winger’s signature this January, but will now face competition for his signature. Lucas has managed three goals and one assist so far this season for the Parisians; better than any United wing man.
Having signed for Paris St. Germain in 2013, Lucas has gone on to make 87 appearances for PSG, scoring 15 goals in total. L’Equipe says several premier league clubs are aware of Lucas frustration and believe he can be tempted away in January.
In 2012, Lucas had one foot inside Old Trafford and that he actually passed a medical with United before opting for Paris St Germain; Lucas 23 was targeted by former United boss Sir Alex Ferguson, but Paris St. Germain stole in with a £31.6 Million pound bid that was roundly criticised by Sir Alex Ferguson.
It’s also claimed that a number of Premier League sides are monitoring Lucas’ situation at Paris St. Germain; teams like Arsenal and Manchester United are ready to slug it out for the wingers signature.
Moura is capable of lighting up the Premier League if he eventually makes the shift to England
