Arsenal are reportedly on the lookout for top quality players ahead of the January transfer window
Portuguese outfit Porto are determined to keep hold of Ruben Neves. Liverpool are long term admirers of the 18 year old, while the Gunners and the Blues are also reported to be keen on the players signature.
The Mirror says the three interested Premier League clubs are yet to receive any hope of a possible swoop for Neves in the January transfer window. Neves has a release clause of £30 Million and he is being represented by super-agent Jorges Mendes who happens to be the agent of Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho.
Neves can be described as a player that could be deployed as a holding midfielder or play further up the pitch, and he possesses excellent vision and passing skill. Neves hold the record for the youngest Portuguese player to ever play in the UEFA Champions’ league at 17 years 5months and eight days; and made history again when he captained Porto against Maccabi Tel Aviv in the UEFA champions’ league as the youngest captain in the competition’s history.
Despite reported interest from some of the Premier League’s biggest clubs, Neves remained insistent that he can’t see his immediate future anywhere else than at the Estadio do Dragao.
