Porto insist their star midfielder Ruben Neves is not for sale, according to Tribalfootball.
The midfielder has attracted interest from Premier league giants Arsenal and Chelsea but the Portuguese club are determined to keep hold of their midfielder.
The Mirror via Tribalfootball claims the Portuguese club are rejecting all advances made in regards to signing the midfielder and hasn’t given any encouragement to interested parties that they could sell the player in January.
The Gunners are interested in signing the 18 year old as they look for reinforcements after losing Francis Coquelin and Santi Cazorla to injuries. The Gunner’s duo are expected to be out of action until at least February leaving Arsene Wenger with no option but to strengthen his squad next month.
Chelsea are also interested in the player as the West London club aim to strengthen their squad for the second half of the season after a dismal start to the current campaign. Mourinho and the midfielder are represented by the same agent, Jorge Mendes.
However, the midfielder is keen to remain in Portugal, he is currently the club’s youngest player to play 50 games and he is the current youngest captain in the champions league history.
