Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on bolstering his side in the January transfer window for the second half of the 2015/2016 season.
According to reports, Southampton tough tackling midfielder; Victor Wanyama looks like he will be heading for the exit door at St. Mary in the January transfer window after the Daily Express; it is reported that Southampton boss Ronald Koeman is already lining up a replacement for the Kenyan international.
Report states that Koeman is looking to bring French youngster Giannelli Imbula from Portuguese outfit FC Porto with whom he has featured 12 times for already this term. Imbula like dribbling opponents as he is good at it, loves striking the ball from long distance and draws fouls to himself more often.
Wanyama has been attracting serious interest from both North London rivals Tottenham Hotspurs and Arsenal. It now seems the Southampton have resigned to losing Wanyama who they signed from Scottish side Celtic in 2013. Wanyama has impressed for the Saints since joining the South coast club.
Arsenal looks like the more likely destination for the Kenyan International; with injury to first choice defensive midfielder; Francis Coquelin; his Premier league experience would see him fit into the smooth passing game that the Gunners usually play. Spurs wont watch Arsenal sign Wanyama without putting on a fight.
