BREAKING NEWS: Sanchez Confirms He is Fit To Destroy City

Arsene Wenger has handed Arsenal fans the news of a massive injury boost after he announced that Star man Alexis Sanchez might be fit to face Manchester City.

The Gunners who lost both Alexis Sanchez and Santi Cazorla to injuries in the game against Norwich in November had been stretched bare in terms of first team players, with the latter out until March after having to undergo surgery on his knee ligaments.

They had been expected to collapse in their do or die Champions league game in Greece without two of their key men. But a ‘Perfect Win’ in Greece and a dominant win at Villa park to follow which saw the qualify for the knockout stages of the Champions league, and move to the top of the Premier League table respectively have given their fans some much needed hope.

Alexis Sanchez returned to training on Monday after sometime training with the Chilean national team physio in his homeland, he will now be aiming to be fully fit for the all-important clash against City at the Emirates

Arsene Wenger said “He may be a bit short for City, Certainly, but with Alexis you never know”

“He is running already. I sent him back to Chile, where he has been running with the physio of the national team, we will see what kind of state he is in”

The news of Sanchez return for their important clash against City would be a nice Christmas gift for the Gunners and a comfortable win over their title rivals would be a Santa Claus’s visit their fans.

“There is a very slight chance for Sanchez to be in the squad again, but it is too early to be sure about it,” he said.

“He is running, but not participating in full training.

“I believe that is normal, that he wants to play. You want him to be keen to play. He respects all the decisions I make and that is what I want from him.

“Will I make the decision? Yes, because he says he’s always ready.”
