Arsenal are reportedly on the lookout for top quality players ahead of the January transfer window.
According to reports, Arsenal have been dealt a major transfer blow after star target Nolito has agreed to extend his contract with Celta Vigo.
Initial report suggest that the player look set to be leaving Celta Vigo when he liked a post linking him with a move to the Emirates while his former side FC Barcelona have showed interest in the player that was on their pay-roll from 2008-11.
Nolito is one of the finest attackers in the La Liga this season; scoring 8 goals in 18 appearances; his form has attracted suitors, most notably Arsenal and his former team Barcelona. Recent reports suggest that Arsenal have open transfer negotiation with Celta Vigo star player Nolito to move to the Emirates in the January transfer window.
The Gunners are looking to add an off field player to their ranks in the January transfer window with injury to many first team player threatening to scupper the bid for the Premier League title. The Gunners only signed Petr Cech from Chelsea last summer.
The 29 year old is said to have a £13 Million release clause on his contract which Arsenal are willing to match while Spanish champions; Barcelona are not in a strong financial position to sign Nolito.
Nolito was a former Barcelona player, spending three years at the Camp Nou from 2008-2011 and the European Champions are looking to bring him back to Barcelona
